We made it home! 2 plane rides, 1 ENT appointment and 2 auditions later, we got to my house in Acton.
The ENT appointment was fine....I need to keep an eye on my adenoids, but for now they're staying in.
We both sang for Ohio Light Opera, and were both successful at impressing them, I think. We'll see! I never thought I'd be happy to spend a summer in the boondocks of Ohio, but if I get this gig I'll be ecstatic.
I'm waiting for Jon to wake up now, and hope we will spend the day driving around the area so I can show him my hometown. Then we're going to sing for my high school voice teacher.
It feels great to be back!
